Brian Jacques
BJOX STUDIO.avif

Redwood Music Studios is the culmination of Brian Jacques' life's work.

With more than 30 years of experience as a performer, songwriter, producer, engineer, multi-instrumentalist, and artist mentor, Brian has dedicated his life to pursuing the heart of music and helping others discover theirs.

Brian's musical journey began at the age of seven, singing and performing alongside his mother in church. As a teenager, he was already performing throughout Southern Ontario, eventually becoming a founding member of local bands, playing festivals, clubs, and events across Ontario and Michigan. Through original projects, cover bands, solo performances, and countless hours both on stage and in the studio, Brian developed not only his musicianship but also a deep understanding of what it takes to transform an idea into a meaningful artistic expression.

Over the years, Brian has worn many hats—performer, songwriter, arranger, producer, engineer, teacher, and coach. Each experience has shaped his ability to guide artists through the creative process with both technical excellence and genuine care. His passion lies not simply in making recordings, but in helping artists uncover the heartbeat of their songs—the authentic emotion, message, and identity that makes their music uniquely their own.

At the core of Brian's philosophy is a commitment to serving others. One of his guiding principles is, "You can only keep what you have by giving it away." That belief has become part of the foundation of Redwood Music Studios. Whether he's teaching a beginner their first chords, coaching an artist through a creative breakthrough, or producing a full-length record, Brian approaches every project with the same goal: helping people become the best version of themselves through music.

For Brian, music is more than entertainment—it is connection, community, expression, and purpose. Redwood Music Studio exists to create a place where artists are supported, creativity is nurtured, and great music can grow.
